What it is
Gamma builds presentations, documents and simple web pages from a prompt or from text you paste in. You describe the deck or hand it an outline, and it produces something laid out and formatted, with images, that you then edit. The output is web-based rather than a slide file, though it exports to PowerPoint and PDF.
Why it's different
It removes the layout work rather than the thinking. The slow part of making a deck is usually not deciding what to say but arranging it so it looks intentional, and that is precisely the part this automates. Compared with asking a general assistant for slides — which returns text you still have to place — the difference is that a finished-looking deck exists after the first step. The house style is recognisable, which matters if brand consistency does.
How people use it
