Glow Security
Endpoint security built on the claim that existing tools cannot see most of the software actually running on your machines.
Highlights
- Asset Intelligence: continuous discovery of endpoints and every piece of software on them
- Automatic research and validation of each discovered software component
- Autonomous remediation and prevention agents with adaptable policies
- Safe AI Adoption module for visibility and control over shadow AI
- Prevention-first posture — the company cites a 28-day average time-to-zero critical issues

About Glow Security
What it is
Glow Security is an endpoint platform that inventories and controls every piece of software running across a fleet, rather than only what an agent was configured to look for. The premise is prevention through knowing what is actually there, which it argues existing tools do not.
Why it's different
The observation is fair and uncomfortable: most organisations cannot produce an accurate list of what runs on their laptops, because inventory comes from software the inventory tool already knows about, and the interesting things are precisely the ones nobody installed deliberately. Making discovery the foundation rather than a feature is a reasonable bet. What to weigh: this is a crowded market with entrenched incumbents whose advantage is detection content built over years, an endpoint agent is among the most invasive things you can deploy and a faulty one takes the fleet down, and "AI-native" is doing a lot of work in the positioning without explaining what the models decide.
How people use it
It is evaluated by security teams who have failed an audit on software inventory, or who found something running that nothing reported. The honest test is a pilot on a representative subset compared against what your current tooling reports — the gap between the two lists is the entire value proposition, and it is measurable in a fortnight.
