What it is
Notion is a workspace where notes, documents, tasks and simple databases live in one place. Notion AI is the assistant built into it: it can write and edit inside a page, summarise long documents, pull answers out of your own workspace, and turn scattered notes into something structured.
Why it's different
It answers using what your team has actually written. A general assistant knows nothing about your projects; this one can search across the pages, meeting notes and databases in your workspace and cite the page it came from. That makes it useful for the specific question “what did we decide about this?”, which is otherwise a ten-minute hunt. It is only as good as what is written down — a neglected workspace produces vague answers.
How people use it
