About Octuo
What it is
Octuo is a personal AI assistant for the Mac and the browser, made by Tutuo. Rather than doing everything itself, it passes each job to a tool suited to it, such as a coding agent like Claude Code or Codex, an MCP tool, the browser or your files, and keeps track of the run.
Why it's different
Its idea is coordination: one conversation that briefs other agents, carries the context each needs and brings the results back, with jobs that keep running after you close the chat, a memory you can read and edit, and an encrypted vault for passwords that the model never sees. The catch is cost and trust. Its credits come on top of whatever you already pay for the tools it delegates to, and acting on a Mac means granting a young product permission to see the screen and operate it for you.
How people use it
People install it on macOS 15 or later, or use it in the browser, start on the 1,000 trial credits and give it a goal: fix a bug, draft a launch checklist, track a habit. It sets up the tools it needs, asks for any sign-in that has to be yours, and shows running jobs, results and pending decisions as cards. Plans start at $20 a month.
