About Presentations.AI
What it is
Presentations.AI generates decks from prompts, documents or URLs — reading PDFs, Word files and spreadsheets — and applies your brand automatically through a Brand Sync feature. Output is editable PowerPoint rather than a locked format, and slides can hold live data connections. There is an API. Backed by Accel.
Why it's different
Two things separate it from the general deck generators. Exporting real, editable PowerPoint matters more than it sounds, because in most organisations the deck will be opened, edited and re-sent by somebody who does not have your tool. And live data connections mean a recurring deck does not need rebuilding each month, which is where most reporting time actually goes. The limits are familiar: automatic branding gets the colours right and the judgement wrong, so a deck that matters still needs a designer's eye, and it cannot invent an argument you have not made. A generated deck about a topic is plausible and empty.
How people use it
It suits recurring reporting decks and the ones that simply have to exist — internal updates, monthly reviews, proposals following a known structure. The workflow that works is writing the substance first and importing it, then letting the tool handle layout and branding. The API is the more interesting half for anyone generating client-specific decks in volume.
