About Flowpoint
What it is
Flowpoint analyses website behaviour to identify where and why visitors fail to convert, using AI to surface the drop-off points that matter and to prioritise which fixes would have the most impact, rather than presenting raw funnel numbers for someone to interpret.
Why it's different
The gap it aims at is genuine. Google Analytics tells you the conversion rate fell and nothing about why, and most teams lack an analyst to work it out — so the data is collected and never acted on. Moving from measurement to prioritised recommendation is the right direction. Where to be careful: automated causal claims from behavioural data are shaky, since analytics observes correlation and a confident this is why your users leave is an inference the data usually cannot support. It also competes with Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity and PostHog, and Clarity in particular does session recording and heatmaps for nothing, which is a hard price to argue against.
How people use it
It is used by small teams without an analyst who need a prioritised list rather than a dashboard, typically on a checkout or signup flow where drop-off is expensive. The pattern that works is treating a recommendation as a hypothesis and testing it properly, since the tool is good at finding where people leave and much weaker at why. Confirm any finding against a session recording before rebuilding a page on it.
