What it is
Kittl is a browser design tool built around text effects, vector artwork and curated assets, with AI image and vector generation, background removal, upscaling, mockups and an infinite canvas for working across several pieces at once.
Why it's different
It is unusually good at the thing most browser design tools are worst at: type. Text effects, layered lettering and vintage styling are first-class here rather than an afterthought, which is why it has taken hold with print-on-demand sellers and merchandise designers. Vector generation matters for the same audience, because print needs scalable artwork and generated bitmaps do not print. It is not a general design suite, and for screen layout or UI work the usual tools are better.
How people use it
T-shirt, poster and merchandise design. Logos and badge lettering. Packaging and label artwork. Generate vectors rather than images for anything going to print, because upscaling a bitmap is not the same as having the paths.
