About Bannerbear
What it is
Bannerbear turns a design template into an API. You build the template once with editable layers, then generate images, multi-page PDFs, animations or short videos by sending data to it - from code, from a no-code automation, or from an agent through its MCP server.
Why it's different
It solves a specific, real bottleneck: the moment a marketing workflow needs a thousand on-brand images, a designer becomes a queue. Templating that removes the queue without removing the brand. It is not a design tool and does not pretend to be - the template still has to be made by someone with taste - and for occasional one-off graphics it is far more setup than opening an editor. The value is entirely in repetition.
How people use it
Open Graph images generated per blog post or product. Certificates, receipts and reports as PDFs. Social clips with subtitles produced at volume. Design the template with the longest realistic text you will ever pass it, because template layouts break on the entry nobody tested.
