What it is
Bubble builds complete web and mobile applications without code - its own database, visual workflow logic, per-record privacy rules, a design canvas and hosting. Applications can be generated from a description and then edited visually where precision matters.
Why it's different
It is the most complete of the no-code platforms because it includes the parts others leave out: a real data layer and proper privacy rules, which is what separates an application from a prototype. The price is total lock-in - there is no meaningful export, so success means staying - along with performance ceilings under load and a learning curve steeper than the marketing implies. Budget for the day you outgrow it, or accept that you will not.

Marketplaces, directories and internal products built by a founder without engineers. Validating a product idea with something users can actually pay for. Applications where the data model matters more than the interface. Set privacy rules on the database from day one, because retrofitting them across an app already in use is the hardest job on the platform.
